Tewksbury Country Club first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by William S. Flynn and Howard C. Toomey.
Set on 50 acres of meticulously manicured grounds, the golf course at Tewksbury Country Club is considered by some to be the best 9 hole course in New England.
Tewksbury Country Club is a relatively flat layout, with the exception of the course's only hill found on hole #5. The fairways are tree lined, and three ponds come into play on five holes. The greens, like the fairways are flat.
Par for the course is 33. From the back tees the course plays to 2,701 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 1,971 yards. Double the par to 72 as well as the distances if you play a double loop 18. The longest hole on the course is # 6 - #15, a par-5 that plays to 490 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9 - #18, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.
